Target Competition switch from ADAC TCR Germany to TCR Europe and confirm three Hyundai i30 N TCR for the 2018 season
The South Tyrol Team became the inaugural Driver and Team Champions of the ADAC TCR Germany Championship 2016, which they repeated in 2017.
“We are really thankful for two successful years in ADAC TCR Germany. The decision was made by driver requests and we are happy that Reece Barr stays onboard with our new challenge.”, said Team owner Andreas Gummerer.
Interesting news also in the car choice. Target Competition will field three Hyundai i30 N TCR in the TCR Europe series.
“The relationship started in Adria Raceway for the TCR Europe Trophy finals. We have been impressed from the performance of the car and we are confident that we will have a very competitive package.”
Drivers of the other two Hyundai i30 N TCR have yet to be announced.
